Aqua KE Government Documents Library
Island Press, in cooperation with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the Stanford University Library System, has developed a free online library providing information related to the science, policy, and practice of aquaculture. The Aqua Knowledge Environment (Aqua KE) Government Documents Library is a continually updated clearinghouse of documents from governments, intergovernmental organizations, and research consortia around the world. A combination of advanced database software and hand-generated document metadata results in highly efficient searches. In other words, if the document you’re looking for is in our library, you’ll be able to find it quickly, without having to wade through pages of irrelevant documents. The library contains documents primarily from the U.S. Federal Government. However, we are now in the process of indexing and loading documents from the United Nations, the Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific, and the Canadian government. We are also adding government documents from Ireland, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
