James E. Rogers

Jim Rogers is retired chairman and recently completed a 25-year tenure as CEO of Duke Energy or one of its predecessor companies. In 2010 and 2011, Rogers was named to the annual Directorship 100, which recognizes the most influential people in corporate governance. He earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Kentucky, and lives in Charlotte, N.C.
